Embedding is the process of adding content from another website or application into your own website by including a code snippet or a link. This allows the content to be displayed within your website without the need for the user to leave your site.

For example, if you want to embed your Artwork Archive portfolio, individual Collections, Artist List, Individual Artist Pages, Exhibitions or an Art Location Map into your own website, you would simply copy the Universal Embed Code for each option from Artwork Archive and paste into the correct location on your website's content management system.

Before embedding, note that:

  • You need to be able to edit the HTML of your site.

  • Your Public Profile must be activated.

  • The artwork or collection you want to embed must be set to public (default is private).

How to Find Your Universal Embed Code:

  1. Navigate to My Profile in the left menu on your main dashboard.

  2. Click the Integrations tab at the top.

  3. Scroll down and copy the default code to embed your full portfolio.

    1. Use the dropdown menus to generate codes for specific Collections, Artists, Exhibitions or Art Location Map.
