In the case that you need to issue a refund to a client for any reason, you can do so through your PayPal account.

How to issue a refund using PayPal.

Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com, find the transaction and click full or partial refund.

Is the PayPal payment processing fee refunded?

PayPal will refund the percentage portion of their fees for both transactions, but not the fixed fees. This means that, for each refund, there is a $0.3 fee retained by PayPal in the US. You can look up the fixed fee of your country here.

What type of protection do I have with PayPal?

When using PayPal through Artwork Archive, most users are eligible for PayPal buyer & seller protection in case something goes wrong. See PayPal's security and protection FAQ for more information. Terms and conditions vary by country, so be sure to look at your country's specific terms.

Will I need to update my sales records in Artwork Archive?

Yes, in the case of a refund, you will want to update that sales record in Artwork Archive for that payment, otherwise, it will still show as "sold".

PLEASE NOTE: PayPal Processing is a Premium Feature and not available on Artist Apprentice or Collector Starter accounts. You can upgrade your account at any time by going to "Account" in the upper right-hand corner of your screen—or by clicking here.
