The following information ONLY relates to calls managed through the Artwork Archive platform and which have an entry fee.
1. Terms of Service: Paid Calls for Entry
Our Role
Our platform provides tools and services to host and manage Calls for Entry ("Calls") on behalf of organizations ("Organizations"). Through this feature, we facilitate the submission process for artists ("Applicants") and process application fees. However, we do not act as the owner, sponsor, or organizer of any Call hosted on our platform. Instead, our role is limited to providing the infrastructure for Organizations to manage their Calls and for Applicants to submit their entries.
Relationship with Applicants
Payment Facilitation: We process application fees paid by Applicants on behalf of the Organization. These fees are passed to the Organization after deducting the payment processing and service fees.
Limited Responsibility: We are not responsible for the content of the Calls, the selection of Applicants, or any disputes arising between the Organization and Applicants.
Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to the Organization hosting the Call. We will process refunds only if the Organization approves and requests the refund through our platform.
By using our platform, Organizations and Applicants acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Refund Policy FAQ
Q: Can I get a refund for an application fee I paid?
Refunds for application fees are handled exclusively by the Organization hosting the Call. If you would like to request a refund, please follow these steps:
Contact the main contact person listed in the Call details. This information is typically provided in the Call description or confirmation email.
Clearly explain your request and provide any supporting documentation, such as your payment confirmation.
If the Organization approves your refund, they will notify us, and we will process the refund to your original payment method.
Q: Does the platform process refunds directly for Applicants?
No, we only process refunds approved and requested by the Organization. If you have concerns about a refund, you must resolve them directly with the Organization.
Q: How long does it take to receive a refund?
Once the Organization approves your refund and requests it through our platform, we will process the refund within 5-10 business days. However, the exact timing may depend on your payment provider.
