How to Embed a Collection on Your Website

Embed a single Artwork Archive Collection on your website to show a curated group of artwork that updates automatically from your account.

With Artwork Archive, you have the option to embed your entire public portfolio or individual Collections into your own personal website. Embedding is the process of adding content from another website or application into your own website by including a code snippet. This allows the content to be displayed within your website without the need for the user to leave your site.

To embed specific Collections into your own personal website, simply copy the Collection's Universal Embed Code found within your Artwork Archive account and paste into the correct location on your website's content management system.

Before you begin

You will need to be able to edit the HTML of the website where you are pasting the Artwork Archive embed link.

How to Embed an Individual Collection

  1. Click My Profile in the left-side menu

  2. Click the Integrations tab

  3. Under What do you want to embed?, click the Collection card

  4. Choose a Collection you've already made from the Select Collection drop-down

  5. Click Copy next to Universal Embed Code

  6. Paste the code onto the website page where you want the Collection to appear

Show or Hide a Collection Name Header

When you embed a Collection, you can choose whether the Collection name shows at the top of your embed.

Below the universal embed code you'll see an Embed Display Options section. At the top of that section is a toggle to "Show collection name header on collection embeds."

Did you know?

Your embed can use the new design, which matches the look of your Public Profile, or the classic design. The Use the classic embed design (optional) toggle on the Integrations tab is off by default, which gives you code for the new design. Embeds already on your website keep the classic design until you copy your code again with the toggle off and paste it over the old code. Accounts created after a certain date only have the new design, so you may not see this toggle.
