How do I view my Editions?

Where to locate editions and how to filter by editions.

Updated over a week ago

There are two ways to view your editions in Artwork Archive, depending on what information you need to see.

Method 1: View Editions on the Editions Page

Use this method when you want to:

  • See an overview of all your editions

  • Manage individual editioned pieces within an edition

  • View edition details, proofs, and images

Method 1 Steps

  1. Click Artwork in the left-side menu

  2. Click Editions underneath

You'll see a list of all your edition runs. Each edition displays:

  • Edition title and associated artwork name (if applicable)

  • Total edition size (e.g., "Limited Edition of 30")

  • Number of pieces you've created so far

  • Number of proofs

  • Thumbnail grid showing all pieces in the edition

Viewing and Managing Individual Pieces

  1. Click on the blue edition title to open the edition details page

From this view, you can:

  • View a detailed list of each numbered, editioned piece (1/30, 2/30, etc.)

  • Edit individual pieces by clicking the Edit icon on the right side of each piece

  • Update piece information including:

    • Status (Available, Sold, etc.)

    • Sale price

    • Buyer information (Sold To)

    • Current location

    • Collection assignment

  • Change or add images for individual pieces

  • Assign pieces to Shows or Locations

  • View the PROOFS tab to see any artist proofs you've created

Method 2: View Editions from Your Main Pieces Page

Use this method when you want to:

  • See edition pieces mixed with your other artwork

  • Filter or search across all your editions at once

  • Show only edition work or hide edition work from view

Method 2 Steps

  1. Click Pieces in the left-side menu

  2. Click the More... button in the filter bar at the top of the page

  3. In the filter panel that opens, find the Editions: drop-down menu

  4. Select one of the following options:

    • Only Editions - Displays only edition artwork (hides all unique pieces)

    • Hide Editions - Displays only unique artwork (hides all edition pieces)

    • Select a specific edition name - Displays pieces from only that edition run

  5. Click Apply at the bottom of the filter panel

Tips for Managing Your Edition Pieces

  • Track sales individually: Each editioned piece has its own status, so you can mark individual works as sold while others remain available

  • Assign different locations: Pieces from the same edition can be stored in different locations (e.g., some in your own inventory, some in a gallery)

  • Update images: You can add unique images for individual pieces if they have slight variations

  • Use the filter on the Pieces page: When you need to quickly see what's available from a specific edition, filter by that edition name
