Artists use Artwork/QR Labels for all kinds of purposes. Some use them to adhere to the back of their artwork before shipping off to galleries while some create wall labels for exhibitions. Whatever your purpose, Artwork Archive provides the ability to customize Artwork/QR Labels for your various needs.
You can create various sized Artwork/QR Labels from three different places in Artwork Archive including from the main Pieces Page, from inside of a Location Record as well as from inside of an Exhibition Record.
*Font size editing options for Artwork Labels are not available at this time.
Note: You can generate 3 different types of QR Code Labels. To learn more about when to use each type, click here.
From the main Pieces Page:
Click New Report
Select Artwork/QR Labels from the drop-down menu
3. From here, you can change the name of your labels, save your chosen settings as a template for future use, and decide what information you'd like to include and how it will appear on the label.
4. Scroll down to Select your pieces and choose the artworks you want to include.
Note: You can click Add all your pieces to include your entire Inventory, or use Filters to find specific pieces and select them one by one.
5. Click the Move button to add pieces.
6. Generate Labels.
Your finished Artwork/QR Labels will then be generated as a PDF on the Reports/Docs page where you can immediately view, download, and share.
If you need to edit your Artwork/QR Labels, you can do so by clicking the pencil icon to the right. Once you make your changes, a new PDF version will be generated.
LABEL SIZE OPTIONS
There are three different sizing options to choose from for your labels: Small, Medium and Large and each size allows for different information to be shown.
SMALL LABELS
Small Artwork/QR Labels allow for 10 labels per page and can include:

Contact Information
Image Thumbnail or QR Code

MEDIUM LABELS
Medium Artwork/QR Labels allow for 4 labels per page and can include:

Other pages where you can generate Artwork/QR Labels:
A Location Record:
You can create Artwork/QR Labels for pieces at a specific Location.
Choose Locations on the left-hand menu
Navigate to the Location Record for which you would like to generate labels
Click New Report from the top menu
Select Artwork/QR Labels
This will then allow you to create Artwork/QR Labels for artwork currently at this specific Location.
An Exhibition Record:
You can create Artwork/QR Labels for pieces in specific Exhibitions.
Choose Exhibitions on the left-hand menu
Navigate to the Exhibition Record for which you would like to generate labels
Click New Report from the top menu
Select Artwork/QR Labels and decide if you would like to create labels for ALL or just the ACCEPTED artwork in this Exhibition
This will then allow you to create Artwork/QR Labels for artwork for this specific Exhibition.
