Artwork Archive gives Collectors three ways to share a collection: a public Public Profile that anyone can find, a password protected Public Profile for a select network, or a Private Room shared with named contacts. This article covers all three, plus My Posts for sharing news about your collection.
Note:
Private Rooms are a premium feature available on Collector Plus and Collector Premier accounts, and on all Organization plans. On those plans there is no limit to the number of Private Rooms you can create.

Share Your Art Collection Publicly with Your Artwork Archive Public Profile
By default, everything in your Artwork Archive account is private. Your Public Profile lets you share only the Pieces you choose, while everything else stays behind your login.
From My Profile in the left-side menu you can build out your profile information and select the Pieces and Collections you want to mark as public. You can also add your website and social media links so visitors can follow your collecting elsewhere.
For the full setup walkthrough, see Creating a Public Profile (for Collectors).
What Can Visitors See on a Collector's Public Profile?
Artwork. Every Piece you have made public, displayed in Tile View or Grid View.
Collections. Displayed as cards, one card for each Collection. Inside a Collection, your Pieces use the same view you set for your Artwork page.
Artists. A dedicated page for the artists in your collection, so visitors can browse by maker. See Creating Artist Profiles for Collector and Organization Accounts.
About. Your collecting story, why you collect, and what ties the collection together.
News. Your posts, covered further down this article.
Contact. A dedicated page with a contact form, turned on by default. Your personal contact details stay private unless you choose to display them, and you can turn the page off entirely with Show Contact Page under Layout & Display.
Did you know?
You control how your collection displays to visitors. There is more here than most Collectors expect. Under Profile Settings > Layout & Display you can choose side or top navigation, Tile View or Grid View, serif or sans serif type across your profile and its navigation menu, how many Pieces load per page, whether visitors get a Sort Menu and a Filtering Bar for sorting and narrowing by price, size, availability, and creation date, and whether your Contact page appears at all.
How to Password Protect Your Public Profile
Password protection lets you share your collection with key collectors, institutions, and clients while keeping it closed to everyone else. It gates a profile that is already live, so make your profile public first if you have not already. See Creating a Public Profile (for Collectors).
Click My Profile in the left-side menu
Click the Profile Settings tab at the top
In the right-hand column, find Privacy Settings and the Password Protection section
Turn on Password Protect Your Public Profile
Enter a secure password and save it
Did you know?
You can preview your public profile while it is private. Click View Public Profile at the top right of the Manage Your Public Profile page to see exactly what a visitor sees. This works even while your profile is private, so you no longer need to make your profile public or password protect it just to take a look.
Share a Curated Selection Privately with a Private Room
If you want to share a select group of artworks with specific people rather than the public, use a Private Room. Recipients do not need an Artwork Archive account. See Share Your Collection Privately with Private Rooms to create one.
To share a Private Room:
Make sure the Private Room is Published
Select Share to open the sharing window, where you can:
Select Contacts
Select Contact Groups
Include a message
Send a copy to your own email
Click Send, and your contact receives the selection curated just for them
Did you know?
Your contacts can view, comment, and message you. Your contacts receive an email directly from your Artwork Archive account. Following the link, they can view, comment on, and message you about the artworks on view.

How to Share Art Collection News with News Posts on Your Public Profile
The News page on your Public Profile lets you tell your network what is driving your engagement with the arts. Share Art Market news, document the conservators and appraisers you work with, spotlight a new acquisition, or pass on best practices to fellow collectors.
Your posts now support more than plain text:
Add images inside a post alongside your writing.
Style your posts with expanded formatting options.
Save a post as a draft and come back to it when you are ready.
Schedule a post to publish automatically on a future date.
For post images, a landscape image of 1200 by 630 pixels gives the best result. Your image displays the same way everywhere it appears, in your account and on your Public Profile, so what you see while building a post is what visitors get.
Published posts appear on your Public Profile under News. Drafts and scheduled posts stay hidden until they go live. For the full walkthrough, see Getting Started with News.
