Getting started with Exhibitions (for Artists)

Keep track of your exhibitions, important dates and other relevant information all in one place.

The Exhibition Tracking Feature is only available for Artist & Organization accounts. However, all account types include the ability to log Exhibition History for individual piece records on a Piece Record.

What is the Exhibitions Page for?

The Exhibitions page is a way for you to track information that corresponds to each future, present or past exhibition or competition you've entered. You can record information including Pieces Submitted, Submission Deadline, Pieces Accepted, Competition Date, Notification Date, and Awards.

Note: To add Pieces to an Exhibition Record, the Pieces must be added to your Artwork Archive inventory first.

Adding a new Exhibition:

  1. Click Exhibitions in the left-side menu

  2. Click +New Exhibition from the top menu

  3. Under the Show Type drop-down select Competition or Exhibition

  4. Enter the rest of the information you’d like to include

  5. Click Save

  • If you don’t see the Location Record you’d like to add for the Exhibition, click Create New Location.

  • If you want the location information for this exhibition to be added to the location history of piece records for artwork accepted into this show, select 'Create Location Records for pieces accepted to this show.'


Adding pieces to an Exhibition

  1. Click into the Exhibition Record

  2. Click Assign Pieces in the top menu

  3. Choose the status of the pieces being added

  4. Select pieces from the piece picker

  5. Click the blue Assign button at the bottom


Adding Additional Files to an Exhibition Record

Once an Exhibition Record is created, you can add Additional Files to the record such as press releases, marketing materials, contracts, etc.


Deleting an Exhibition Record

  1. Click Exhibitions in the left-side menu

  2. Click Edit to the right of the Exhibition Record you wish to delete

  3. Click the red trash can button at the bottom of the page. 

Note: The deletion of the Exhibition Record is permanent, but the Pieces associated with the Competition will not be deleted.


Archiving an Exhibition Record

  1. Click Exhibitions in the left-side menu

  2. Click Archive to the right of the Exhibition Record you wish to delete

  3. Click OK in pop-up dialog box to confirm

  4. You can access archived Exhibition Records within the Hidden tab located at the top of the main Exhibitions page


Artwork Archive Tip: Adding Exhibition dates to your Schedule

If the important dates for your Exhibition are in the future, they will also automatically populate in your Schedule in Artwork Archive so you never have to miss an important deadline.
